Join Jean, Susan and Jenn for a special evening of LIVE MUSIC & movement for all levels. Breathe and move through a blend of Pilates and restorative yoga accompanied by acoustic guitar with our featured local artist.

What To Bring:

Please bring your own mat and any props you may need, wear comfortable/cozy layers that you can move in. Beginner friendly and open to all. Space is limited, pre-register early.

About Your Instructor Team:

Studio Owner Jean Munoz Keese is a Master Pilates Trainer, Clinical Ayurvedic Practitioner and Yoga Teacher.

Jennifer Pynch specializes in Pilates, alignment-based movement, and Iyengar yoga.

Susan Wiebe moved to McCall from Fruitland in 2021 with her husband and 2 dogs. She is a former Idaho district judge. She began singing in the law school band in the 80s and has continued to sing and play guitar over the past several decades. Susan can often be found at the McCall Farmers Market with her guitar and microphone.

Join us for The Art of Savasana & Restorative Yoga for Relaxation, a 2-day learning module led by Jenn Pynch. Tailored for yoga teachers and students interested in slowing down, this workshop explores the philosophy, art and science of restorative yoga. Other topics include nervous system regulation, purpose, contraindications and family of each asana, alignment, safety, variations, practice teaching and extended savasana!

Yoga Teachers receive 14 CEU credits for attending and an invitation to teach Restorative Community Yoga classes at True North Yoga.  All costs can be applied toward a 200 or 300 Hour Yoga certification at True North Yoga.

He has been booked alongside The Buffalo Philharmonic, Lotus, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Toubab Krewe, Bernie Worrell (Funkadelic, Talking Heads), Jennifer Hartwick & Natalie Cressman (Trey Anastasio Band), Garaj Mahal, Fareed Haque, Rudresh Mahanthappa, Steve Kimock, Andre Manga, Max Creek, Melvin Seals and JGB, and Family FUNKtion and the Sitar Jams. He’s considered the “go-to sitarist of the west” and continues to please audiences with his ability to create soundscapes out of deep fusion grooves, earthly beats and resonating melodies.

THE BREATH BUFFET®

Come as you are! Mats are not required for this 30 minute mini-workshop on mindful breathing & can be done sitting up or lying down. Designed for music festivals, at our Breath Buffet ™, you’ll join our breath experts for centering, chilling-out and breathing. Explore various techniques that the ancient yogis codified as "breath control" or energy regulation. This breath control, or pranayama, is a subtle inner awareness which is constantly rising and falling. Retention, regulation & observation of the breath can slow the fluctuations of a busy mind, while balancing both hemispheres of the brain. Learn simple & accessible exercises that are used to warm up, cool down, unwind, or recharge! Release tension, ease your mind, and shift into a more relaxed awareness. The natural expression of your breath simply travels throughout your body as if it were on an adventure. Nourish every cell, organ and tissue of the body and reduce accumulated stress in the mind. All ages & abilities are encouraged to come explore, discover, investigate and let go. “Breathe. Balance. Be.
